You just need to add an electric motor to vehicles that cover the commute, that's 90% of the gasoline used in North America.

you just need to get demand below supply and at some point somebody will need to sell just to bring in cash to survive. Oil is based on the last barrel traded. Trudeau isn't going out on a limb for Alberta, he pushed through Trans-Mountain and got wiped out in Alberta, and it cost him the majority because the environment favouring voters in Quebec and Ontario bailed on him.
