I'm reminded that the population of Tillamook County in Oregon is 25,000.

That's the population of the town I live in, in Benton County, and that's a relatively small town. What's happening is that these people have a disconnect between land and people. Their tiny counties have as many people as a city block in Brooklyn so they can't fathom why they don't have as much political sway as other, more populated areas.
