Based on what shades alluded to things really turn sideways (spoilers)

in episode 3. I would have probably preferred that they had released all three at once if this was the case as the first two alone only had a smattering of "weird". I mean, it was enough to make it interesting but the whole "b&w sitcom" only goes so far to hold my attention as it is cute but certainly isn't the point of the show. Having the veil torn (so to speak) in EP3 (presumably) would have made a one sitting viewing much nicer.
