As mostly ignorant atheist, is that correct? I thought that God did the killing / infecting?

Granted the most in depth 'studying' I've done is repeated readings of "God is Disappointed in You" so my knowledge is limited at best and at worst just flat out wrong but it seems to me that the Bible gives credit to Jesus for positive miracles granted in person but the big sweeping stuff is attributed to God
