It's older than 2004 and with the smell concentrated in the freezer and not the fridge I'm pretty sure it's a leak and not rotting citrus. Also, no citrus. -- (edited)

Theresa got this fridge about a year before I moved here in 2004 so it could be freon but either way it means we will need to figure out a way to get a new one. Ugh!!
