Long story short, I had that interview before Christmas. I thought it went really well, but then things fell into a black hole. Based on the minimal updates from the recruiter (primarily as a result of me chasing her), I assumed I was out of the running.

Tonight out of the blue, I got an email from her saying that the company just finished doing their first round interviews and the recruiter expects to hear next steps in the next couple of days. She also apologized that the process has been so drawn out.

So I'm reluctant to get my hopes back up, but if everyone can use your Professor Xavier powers on my behalf, that would be aces.
