I think what was well discussed before/after the last oscars was what best picture actually means.

If there was an oscar for what film made you stuff your face with popcorn, with all your mates screaming at the film hepped up on fizzy orange and then make you go home and put on your secret batsuit, then yeah, Dark Knight would win that one hands down.
