I don't get this desire to watch movies and see real life

I can see criticism like "The drumming is bad" etc, but to say "No real X would do this" is just asking for movies to be a little more boring.
And yeah I'm sure most big band leader are normal, slightly boring people. But somewhere there has to be a crazy one, and that's the story we want to hear
