Voting Stories and Thoughts...

As Diva said...there was one person checking names. I don't mind waiting, I'll wait as long as it takes and I mean that but it's disheartening that we can't fund this to the point where it is more efficient.

But I loathe people who complain in line. I don't care how long it takes. The right to vote is sacred. I believe it so much that I threw on a jacket and tie. You'd think I was wearing a Bunny Outfit the way people reacted (I'm not). The people at work are incredulous. Even my boss laughed.

Oh and not only did I vote...I literally helped a lil ol' lady across the street. There's exposed piping down the length of one street and she couldn't climb over so I offered my arm.

I hope today is a good day.
