Nike has designed some rather interesting sneakers that are made to make it easy for someone without the ability to easily bend over to put on -- (edited)

Slip-ons would work for the tying but getting your feet into them is often an issue. People tend to end up walking on the heel of the shoe. Basically making them like clogs.
This seems like an interesting idea and their second major sneaker design with the idea to make it easier for people with disabilities to put sneakers on. They have a CMFT line of Jordans with zips around the ankle and other features to make them easier to put on, adjust and wear.
