positions that have to cover (ie: buy shares) which will drive up the price (potentially more than it already has) and those that hold will benefit
Reality: No one knows how many short positions (say at like $5 or $10) still exist. Institutional investors hold the largest % of GME shares, not the little guy. At some point, they're going to start taking profits and it doesn't really matter what the little guys are doing. If they hold at that point, they get screwed (relative to the institutions)
None of this is relevant to GME as a stock or an investment or a company
