from home. I'm using a chromebook with a debian linux kernel and ssh to a gateway server, then ssh to a second server on my company's network. Other servers on the network forward X11 correctly but for this one, it's just isn't working.

Finally found a webpage explaining that disabled IPV6 fubar's the forwarding for some weird reason. Adding 'AddressFamily inet' to the sshd_config fixed it!

Years of frustration now gone :)
