In middle school my friends and I wanted to blow things up so we called a pharmacy for volatile chemicals. They laughed us off the phone.

We immediately called back and pretended to be asking for the same chemicals for use in growing crystals as a class assignment. They bought it for a half second before hanging up again.
Joke's on them though, because eventually we were able to blow up all our Star Wars action figures... including the rare... shit.
