I'm thinking/hoping that Transformers 2 will serve to prove my father's "movie review inversion" theory.

i.e., the more the critics love something, the worse it is. And vice versa. Hopefully the vice versa is true for this movie.

Normally I find Rotten Tomatoes a pretty good guide, but in this case, the glow on my coworker's face who caught a matinee (and loved it) is not to be discounted.
