Watching the impeachment trial and it's been absolutely gripping. Hollywood screenwriters could learn something about storytelling from these guys.

It (a) is way worse than I even realized, (b) is astounding that more people didn't die (c) was way closer to the mob getting their hands on Pence, Pelosi and others than I really could comprehend, (d) makes clear how incredibly heroic the capital and metro police were and how long they were in basically hand to hand combat and (e) is astounding that Senators who lived through this will still vote to acquit.
