favor and got us a sweet deal on a minivan rental. Van had 17 miles on it when we got it, had 1700 when we gave it back.

We came back Saturday...didn't do too much on Saturday or Sunday...but what we did do, we did in my car, because it's better on mileage.

So...yesterday...Carrie's truck (what we would have taken on vacation if not for the rental) decided, it wasn't gonna go in reverse anymore.

transmission pretty much shot craps. Now...how fucked up would it have been for that to have happened on vacation???

When I'm sitting around thinking "why does this shit keep happening to me"...this is one of those things I'm gonna remember as an "oh, wait a minute...maybe it's not all bad."

Whew!
