We kind of assumed this was more of an audition / acceptance situation to see if she can get into the program. They made it sound more like "we really want you here" to the point that her first interview emailed her second and they were like "oh, we just got this email about you and... " which didn't seem "normal" for how the process would go.

Anyways, maybe reading too much into it but hopeful there is a good chance she gets some kind of music scholarship on top of her academic. It was also funny when the 1st interview team (head of Jazz studies) was like "Oh, you got a REALLY nice academic award, congrats" during her meeting.
