that royals team feels more like a fluke, based on a combination of luck on cheap contracts, and rookies.

No team in MLB loses money. What teams have done and are doing is wrong and there needs to be major spending changes. There needs to be a floor

oh I agree, but owners have figured that they can keep a low effort team, and then get a bonus from the big market teams that spend over the cap
