a bit sweet, but it tenderizes the meat so it falls off the bone when cooked. nm -- nm

generically sweet.. it's a good way to tenderize. a lot of brisket recipes call for adding some coke. -- nm

coke is sugar + cinnamon + vanilla + citrus. Not terribly different from any given marinade I think? -- nm

isn't there a method of cooking a whole chicken with coke (or sprite, etc?) i imagine i adds sweetness and a crispiness. -- nm
