My recommendation is that the episodes are short and to stick with it. The progression of the characters and storylines very much reflects that the

creators realized that while cute there's only so much one can do with exaggerated issues of a Japanese office girl.
You've also got a huge advantage of not having to wait for successive seasons as you have multiple seasons awaiting you.
