I'd read the book so I kind of knew what I was getting myself into. There's also knowing that the real world reckoning is going to happen to both of

Nintendo and Sega.
I think Console Wars shows them to be both admirable: Nintendo has to restart the console market. Sega has to carve out a market and then surpass Nintendo in the US as well as questionable at best: Nintendo's monopolistic practices and gloating over the coupon portion of the settlement, Sega's almost do anything attitude.
And then Sony comes along with Playstation.......
