Listened to a really interesting podcast where they speculated about the economci and political impact of COVID. The idea of "Supercommuters" is big.

Basically the idea is that businesses are realizing that they don't need to maintain huge offices in big cities and can do their work though Zoom, etc.

This allows people to move away from the cities and "Supercommute" where they live as much as 100 miles away and come to the office infrequently.

This will spread people that tend to vote and think liberally from city centers where they tend to be primarily now and out into typically conservative rural areas.

Is it enough to tip the scales in some places, who know, but I thought it was interesting.
