The touch screen / “infotainment” system is a nightmare, and it’s been a nightmare since the early test drives.

It’s shameful that they basically did NOTHING to improve it. But then again, I drive a VW Atlas right now, so I *know* that VW infotainment systems are shit. Just. Utter. Shit. Seriously, whatever department at VW is tasked with this job (and I assume it’s a bunch of interns in the basement, maybe?) should be fired. And, honestly, I don’t care. It’s all about wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto at this point. Anything other than that is just a waste of your time. Car companies shouldn’t be in the business of making operating systems and entertainment systems.
Plus, I have zero intention of getting an ID.4 First Edition. I want an AWD, and that comes out later this year.
