I have the same issue with higher sugar in the morning. Sometimes I’ll eat and my sugar goes down. Google “dawn effect” or wiki link inside.

But I agree that another A1C sounds like a good idea. Blood sugar at one moment in time has so many variables so the A1C gives a more stable reading.
