Omega deserves to be much more famous in the US, so if he holds onto the title for a long time until you can pull the trigger on a younger guy like Hangman Page and make it seem like a huge moment, then you do that.

The Young Bucks were of course going to win the titles eventually, and that battle royale was fun but felt jobberriffic outside of like two teams (who made up the final two), so while they've got a crazy deep tag team division, they don't have many teams on the level of the Bucks right now (why wasn't FTR in it?)
