Arguably, it *could* widen the gap between the far upper middle class (if you want to call it that) and the uber-wealthy. HOWEVER.

Who cares? That shouldn't be our barometer.
We should be making sure (in no particular order):
- Those in poverty can get out of poverty
- Those in the lower middle class and/or working class have a path to comfortable middle class
- Those in the comfortable middle class are able to at least stay there.
I'm not really worried about a widening gap between the well-off portion of the upper middle class and the uber-rich.
(And the uber-rich, in theory, will be paying for much of this anyway so that puts a check on that I think)
