FiDi is much more a business district than a residential district so it will be rather quiet since so many people work from home. That hotel is definitely very easy walking distance to the 9/11 memorial.

Has daughter been to NYC before? If not, obviously there sight-seey stuff in midtown, but easy to subway or bus up there from FiDi and back.
