Certainly. We are a bit fortunate my son has chosen a cheaper route. We pay about $400/mo for his basement rental with 2 friends (plus food)

but he's also working now at a local escape room part time so he has money coming in there as well. He also pockets I think $1-2k/year (or semester) from his fraternity scholarship.
