Let me tell you something about Reagen's daughters. -- (edited)

One of them has more energy than me, which is something I don't think I've ever said of anyone ever before. Gillian may be the child of introverts, but she's the most extroverted girl in the south right now. Kim and I had the pleasure of spending an hour at the beach with the one-year-old. This was the first time she'd walked on her own on sand, and it was among the most joyous moments of my life watching her try to find her balance. Lil dudette has uncanny breakaway speed on flat surfaces, but the sand had her so confused. It had give to it. She laughed and laughed and laughed as she tried to figure it out. That wasn't even the greatest moment I shared with her, either. Last night, we locked eyes across the dinner table. I was admiring her spaghetti face paint. She looked at me with an expression I can only describe as, "DUDE! Spaghetti is the greatest thing ever!" Then, she reached into her bowl, pulled out a fist-full of spaghetti and shook it ferociously at me. She so badly wanted me to understand that spaghetti is power to one-year-old babies. In that moment, she held the Spaghetti Crown in her mighty hand. Reagen's an amazing man, but I know that he's going to live the dream that every parent has. His children are going to surpass him. What an awesome family. Thank you for sharing your birthday with us, my friend.
