It’s not necessarily that he liked or hated the movie, but rather that Warner Bros. could screw up their foundational project so badly. And he’s got a point. If this movie works, you get sequels, you get spin-offs, you get a cinematic universe. Instead, you get “A Batman movie, but not *that* Batman”, you get “I think we’ll do a Superman movie, but we don’t know yet if we keep the old Superman”. AT&T (heh, I wrote AOL) shareholders should be demanding accountability from Warner on this.

The worst thing the Snyder Cut did is give fans a justification to scream “MAKE SNYDER’S SEQUEL!” The best thing it did is make WB consider doing exactly that.
