It’s not to say that a Ben Affleck Batman movie would be good or wouldn’t be. But once Justice League floundered, all prospects of a cohesive cinematic universe went out the window.

it's not a Batman origin movie, and yeah WB execs really bungled this. Ben's script for Batman that he was going to direct is supposed to be good... -- (edited)

I mean the Affleck one. As for Pattinson's, I always expect the worst from DC but that one has more promise than most. -- nm
