I replied with: "you realize if they had a gun it would be 7 dead rather than 1 dead and 6 wounded right?'
she tells me to stop fighting with her family...

I thought my comment was fairly obvious and told her so; that any rational thinker would come up with the same thought and if her PIL didn't than they might need to rethink a few things...
