I can live with ignoring the terrible entertainment system, especially since it *does* have wireless Android Auto so I may never have to actually interact with that terrible entertainment system. I just hating rewarding VW for their crass ineptitude.

The Mustang Mach E is of comparable price so I may actually go with that over the VW for this singular reason. But if I’m gonna get an EV, it’s basically one of these two. Honestly, there’s nothing wrong with the Mach E other than availability.

I literally never use the entertainment system. I plug in my phone and use CarPlay. Unless you’re using the radio you never would. -- nm - spamlet Mar 28, 09:15 4

    - Hmm, good question. The ID.4 has a number of voice commands, although I don’t know if they do that. And, from the demos I’ve seen, they don’t work, period. -- nm* - Mop Mar 28, 09:27
- Unfortunately, the UI on the screen is how you adjust a lot of settings for driving and charging, so it can't be ignored entirely. - TWuG Mar 28, 09:17
