I meant that I'm not sure the new shows (post-Simon Cowell and the move to ABC) are producing stars. But I don't watch so I could be wrong. -- nm

It had been a while, but I Hope by Gabby Barrett was a big radio hit last year and she was from Idol (not a winner, though.) -- nm
