Most of the examples I've found come from tech tutorials on YouTube.

Either the presenter isn't a native English speaker so uses text-to-speech to narrate the demo in a monotone computer voice or - and this is more in line with what David described - takes a tutorial someone threw on a page and turns it into a narrated sideshow for the clicks.
