That gives them no chance to profit. Bumfuck Montana couldn’t give them even a hint of a loss-leader, for them it’s just money down the drain. You shouldn’t force companies to pour money down a drain.

It’s far worse governance to do that than have government fill in the gaps.

That’s the fundamental difference between business and government.
