final four but lost to Ewing and Georgetown. So many local guys on that St. John's team but the guy I followed and cared about most was Chris Mullin. He was from Brooklyn and everyone was following him and them.
Turned out the tournament belonged to 8 seed(!) Villanova and Rollie Massimino.
