I went to the Knocked Up premier and at the after party as I arrived I remember that there was like a plaza area and primary entry area with a set of steps. Turned out that Serena Williams was already at the party and was about 10 feet feet past the steps as I got there. Facing away from me. Bit shorter than I had in mind but Whoo boy. Ye gods.
Oh, wait. That's not the story but I sure as hell remember that.
Anyway, met up with a group that had managed to take over a set of couches on the edge of the plaza and as the night went on, we were approached by this older couple. We were kind of looking at each other, do you know these people? The older woman ended up in front of me "I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed you in the movie"
My sort of drunk self went mind racing..What the hell? Wait. Does she think that I'm the actor (would later figure out that was Ken Jeong) who played the doctor? Uh, we really do all look alike?
And where I completely failed is that I truthfully answered that I wasn't 8-|
In the aftermath, the group I was with endlessly teased me about an opportunity lost.
