The only downside of these cars usually seems to be the onboard software. Too much lag. -- nm

Not sure how much VW is doing in-house with that. But if the screen is the UI, lag can't happen.

I know what you mean about Tesla, I've been in a few. I meant the pre-tesla companies - they still haven't figured out software.
