OMG, my daughter got offered her first real music business deal. A 3 year music publishing deal with a small, but successful, UK publishing company.

They would also arrange distribution and some marketing for the project that she's been sitting on for over a year. This company only has about 5 or 6 on their talent roster but they have done pretty well. The head of the company was the former head of A&R for XL records (a huge major record label in the UK). Probably their biggest artist is Nao (she has several songs with over 20 million plays on spotify) and the fantastically named Fabiana Palladino (who is also the daughter of Pino Palladino, current bass player for the Who). This is incredibly exciting. She's flipping out.
