As a big fan of "That Woman from Michigan" as Trump dubbed her - lack of backbone and cowardice are not labels I would give her.

as to her latest response to the rise in our numbers here, I am not sure any more restrictive measures would even get followed if she did put them in place.
those who are in the camp of "anti-mask" run the gamot of individuals, businesses, politicians and even law enforcement - in some Counties to such a high percentage that offenders face little to no repercussions
it's depressing that people can't simply do the right thing so that our numbers go down - our hospitals have room for patients other than covid - and we get the virus under control
I don't really know where things stand for vaccinations - guess we'll see when all of our seasonal people return up north as to whether that even stands a chance at flattening our curve.
Trying to stay optimistic about it all ... but I must say that for the past year, our Governor has taken a hard stand - more so that many other States - and she has taken it on the chin numerous times but didn't cave in to demands and many lives were saved as a result.
For what it's worth - I'm proud of her. I think she's done as well as can be expected given this all being without a playbook and not having very much support at all from a Federal level all last year. In fact - were it not for Pence - there would have been zero support from Trump.
