Galaga! I shared this on Twitter yesterday and that was my reply. It was the game I went to most but some days it was Spy Hunter or Pole Position.

You sometimes had to wait because someone was already playing the game you wanted so you went with another favorite.
There were at least 20 or so games that I was happy to play on any given day but if there was a Galaga machine I was playing it that day.
There was one at a laundromat near my childhood home so I'd get to play there with rarely ever finding someone on it. The video rental stores also had machines but not usually Galaga.
