Yeah, this is the mistake I was making on B2.

If the government is taking $7,500 or more in taxes whether it was withheld or you send them a check on tax day, you can subtract the $7,500 from your return using the proper form. If you withheld $7,500, then the government will send you a refund of that $7,500.
Replace "$7,500" with the value of the credit available for the car you purchase.
