LIR: So I rabbit-holed a home automation project related to my LED strips question from yesterday. Seems my biggest challenge is that I have three

distinct spaces in the kitchen that I want to put under counter lights. There is no possibility of connecting them as they are each separate from each other (no way to wire together easily). So, that fundamentally means that I need three LED controllers

Now, I have a Raspberry PI at home not doing anything so I deep dove on the Home Automation project. Great stuff. Lots of options but regardless, the base price to get an LED controllers (without going SUPER deep and building my own boards) is about $20-25

Since I get get 16ft of LED with controller AND power supply for like $25, even though I'm going to potentially cut 10' or more of it off, it's still more effective. Maybe down the line I can buy one controller and merge all the extra ends I have.
