I have NO idea :) I just have a Raspberry PI in the box at home that I realized I could use. I was looking at Home-Assistant.io. Those particular -- (edited)

LED strips seem to be supported under FluxLED/MagicLight

yeah, the sensors is what caught my eye. like "if someone opens this door after 11pm, slowly bring up all the kitchen lights" -- nm

the way people use low-powered USB sensors is fantastic... tracking whether a bike is at home, plant soil moisture sensors, etc. -- nm

maybe amazon isn't the best source? I don't see anything there z-wave that is cheaper than the $24/16ft. It seems that a lot of the z-wave stuff is
