Who wants to hear my copter spotting update? Of course you do. Apparently I filled in a critical gap just south of DC.

I knew I lived along a major corridor, and apparently it's a junction. So now, depending who is actually online, there are enough spotters in place to hand off sightings. Today we followed a squadron of 3 Air Force Hueys (UH1N) as they were in a holding pattern. Someone who was monitoring radio said they were waiting to do a flyover of Arlington Cemetery. Person A spotted them first, then me, and several others. Then the DC spotters were waiting after the flyover.

I am one of THOSE people now.
