Mackie is a star, he was great in the entire thing dealing with the legacy and also being a real person.
I would have liked 1-2 more episodes to let things kinda breathe but I get why given the filming hurdles. I would have wanted more time to see Russell fall apart. We never real saw him merit the role so the weight of his collapse was more a duh rather than anything weighty.
I also would liked to see a bit less of “big reveal ... the end. Next week...big reveal, the end.” But I get why that might not have been feasible.
