Old school companies yelling at clouds because technology has passed them by. Here’s a company that has figured out that a 10-13% failure rate is perfectly fine because 25% of their revenue is parts and repair and when technology eats into that bottom line, they’ll do everything they can to quash it. It boils down to that “right of repair” mantra that iFixit repeats over and over again, and a rather public story like this can go a long way to legalizing that “right of repair”.
