In response to "spoils" by Dark Callisto

I'm not sure if you mean Marvel universe government or the real U.S. government. (spoils) -- (edited)

Either way, Isaiah was so scared of the government response if they found him that he stayed hidden since the 1940s. Mainly because they did try to kill him.

Now the guy who can't even use his influence to get a bank loan changes the government opinion to not only not try to kill Isaiah, but to put in a wing honoring his service, and explaining what they did to him. That really stretches believability.

Add to that, Sam completely outted him, and didn't ask him if it was okay to go to the government about this. Yet Isaiah is cool with it because having a statue of yourself is great?
