If you shoot 35% from 3, you have to shoot 52.5% to create the same expected points.

The number of guys who shoot 52.5% from 2 arent the guys you want jacking up 3’s in the first place.
Jordan shot 51% from 2 and there’s likely been a better guard to get to the easy buckets than him.
Kobe shot 48% from 2.
